What is MO-SOL?

MO-SOL is a software product that allows the easy integration of Magneto-Optical (Erasable) Disk Drives and UDO Disk Drives with SUN Microsystems computers. MO-SOL consists of an erasable optical disk device driver, a set of utility programs for installing, media formatting, device testing and a comprehensive users manual as well as man pages.

• Extensive Drive and Disk Diagnostics.
• Supports ALL File System Calls, Block Device Calls and Procedures: Including: mount, fsck, newfs, dkinfo, and dump.

• Optional Developer Library Available:

  A "C" Library interface gives application programs the ability to directly operate and monitor the operation of the optical disk drive.
